with a tremendous record of experience and success in consulting and
training. The firm is a Woman-Owned Business since 2001.
Our diverse expertise allows us to provide comprehensive environmental
services to our clients from initial investigation and testing through
remediation design, specifications, contractor oversight, project management,
final clearance, and project closure.

May Khalighi,
MS, CIH, CPEA, CAC
President
IHS Environmental, Inc.
As the president and founder of IHS Environmental,
Inc., May Khalighi has managed the growth
of the company based on reputation and referral. Ms. Khalighi has over 30 years of experience performing
risk management and occupational/environmental health and safety. She has a
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master of Science degree in
Industrial Hygiene from the University of Utah. Ms. Khalighi is
a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Professional Environmental
Auditor (CPEA), Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC), and a Certified Lead
Paint Inspector & Project Monitor.
Ms. Khalighi provides training and
consulting services in the areas of mold, Indoor Air Quality, Asbestos,
Lead Paint, silica, PCB and other health and safety regulatory
compliance.
As a management consultant, Ms. Khalighi reviews
the client’s Industrial Hygiene and Safety programs to assist them in
becoming in full compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. As a
consultant, she has conducted on site investigations, prepared numerous
reports to prevent and control environmental and occupational exposures. She
also provides consultation to the legal profession and has been an expert
witness in a variety of cases.
Committed to serving the clients, she is always updated on new regulations
and requirements to make sure that the clients receive the most updated
consulting and training services related to health and safety issues.
S. Amir Karamati,
MSPH, CSST
Vice President
IHS Environmental, Inc.
Mr. Karamati has managed and conducted inspections
in a broad range of Occupational health and safety and environmental related
issues for over 31 years. He holds a bachelors
degree and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene from the
University of Utah. Mr. Karamati is Certified Radon
Inspector, Certified Asbestos Site Surveillance Technician and Certified Lead
Sampling Technician in the State of California.
Mr. Karamati provides consulting services in the
areas of mold, Indoor Air Quality, Asbestos, Lead Paint, Radon, Silica,
PCB and other health and safety regulatory compliance.
As a consultant, he has conducted on site investigations, prepared numerous
reports to prevent and control environmental and occupational exposures.

With headquarters in Irvine- the Center of the Southern California and branch
in San Jose in Northern California, IHS Environmental serves clients
throughout the state of California and the western United States.
COST
We offer individualized services to our clients. Special contracts are
available in order to assist clients in planning and budgeting for both
anticipated and emergency projects. Special group rate pricing is available
to high volume customers. We are proud of our record of completing projects
on time and within budgetary constraints.
